Am Anfang steht wieder die Idee .......
Die Analyse ist erfolgreich beendet, der B261 kann auf DAB+
umgebaut werden. Das Ziel ist es, DAB+ einzubauen, so dass es sich
anfühlt, als hätte Revox vor 40 Jahren bereits DAB+ in diesem Gerät
integriert. Und natürlich wird FM auch wieder wie gewohnt
funktionieren.
Die Ferneinschaltbuchse hinten wird verfügbar sein und auch die IR
Fernsteuerung wird weiterhin funktionieren. Ziel ist es auch, diese
etwas weniger empfindlich für die Stromsparlampen oder LED Lampen zu
machen, da die doch oft diese Geräte durch den IR Empfänger
beeinflussen.
Das Gerät FM RDS (Sendername und Radiotext) und DAB Radiotext und
Sendernamen unterstützen. Das analoge Signalstärkemeter wird
weiterhin funktionieren, das Mitte-Abstimmungs Meter wird nicht mehr
verwendet.
Das Gerät wird vollständig und ausschliesslich an den gewohnten
Bedienelementen (Tasten und IR Fernsteuerung) bedient. Es gibt keine
App zur Bedienung oder sonst etwas, das benötigt wird. Alles wie
gewohnt direkt am Gerät.
Der gesamte HF Teil des FM Tuners wird nicht mehr verwendet und
wird beim Umbau entfernt, damit der Stromverbrauch sinkt.
Der gesamte Umbau soll minimal invasiv sein und vollständig
reversibel.

The Idea
It always starts with the idea .......
The analysis has been successfully completed; the B261 can be
converted to DAB+. The goal is to install DAB+ in such a way that it
feels as though Revox had already integrated DAB+ into this unit 40
years ago. And, of course, FM will work as usual.
The rear remote control input will be available, and the IR remote
control will continue to work. The goal is also to make it slightly
less sensitive to energy-saving bulbs or LED bulbs, since these
devices often interfere with the IR receiver.
The device supports FM RDS (station name and radio text) as well as
DAB radio text and station names. The analog signal strength meter
will continue to function, but the center-tuning meter will no longer
be used.
The device is operated entirely and exclusively using the standard
controls (buttons and IR remote control). There is no app required for
operation or anything else needed. Everything works as usual, directly
on the device.
The entire HF section of the FM tuner is no longer used and will be
removed during the modification to reduce power consumption.
The entire renovation is intended to be minimally invasive and
fully reversible.
