Die B285/B286 Distanzplatine ist eine
praktische Reparatur- und Servicehilfe für die gesteckten Platinen im
Revox B285 Receiver und B286 Vorverstärker/Radio.

Platine im laufenden Betrieb zu messen. Im eingebauten Zustand
sind viele Bauteile, Messpunkte und Signale jedoch nur schwer oder gar
nicht zugänglich.
Mit der Distanzplatine wird die originale Baugruppe
nach oben versetzt und bleibt dabei vollständig mit dem Gerät verbunden.
Dadurch sind die Bauteile wesentlich besser zugänglich und Spannungen
sowie Signale können komfortabel mit Multimeter oder Oszilloskop
gemessen werden.
Beim Einsetzen ist darauf zu achten, dass sowohl
die Distanzplatine als auch die darauf gesteckte Originalplatine jeweils
auf demselben Pin startend eingesetzt werden.

Short Overview
The B285/B286 extender board is a practical
repair and service aid for the plug-in circuit boards used in the
Revox B285 Receiver and B286 Preamplifier/Tuner.
When troubleshooting, it is often necessary to
take measurements on a circuit board while the unit is operating.
However, when the board is installed in its normal position, many
components, test points and signals are difficult or even impossible to
access.
The extender board raises the original circuit
board above its normal position while keeping it fully connected to the
unit. This provides much better access to the components and allows
voltages and signals to be conveniently measured with a multimeter or
oscilloscope.
When inserting the boards, make sure that both the
extender board and the original circuit board plugged into it are
inserted starting at the same pin position.
The B285/B286 extender board is therefore a useful
tool for anyone who professionally repairs, restores or services
these units.
